Dear Junior English Kids,
If you missed class, we completed the following:
1. Each student was given 10 minutes to complete their "Birthmark" quiz. If you missed the quiz, please stop by so I can give you a copy of it.
2. We then continued with Journal #3 entitled "Inja".Students watched a short film entitled "Inja." I asked that students identify the irony found within the film, and then discuss why irony is such an important literary tool.
HOMEWORK:
1. Students were given AW #4 entitled " Texas Man receives face implant" due on FRIDAY!

- I asked students to go to YouTube and look at a clip of Dallas Weins, the gentleman who lost his face in an electrical accident. GO TO YOUTUBE and view the first video of Dallas Weins.
- Consider the following questions in relationship to the article: What advances do you predict will occur in the future due to this medical miracle.
- What changes will take place in relationship to medicine due to the procedure?
